Is it really free?
Yes. The daily heist, the first ten jobs, practice, clubs and challenges never cost anything and there are no ads. Mastermind is a one-time purchase for the extra cities and modes; the Club is optional.
What counts as a word?
Anything in a standard English word list (plurals and verb forms included), three letters or more. Proper nouns don't count. The Inside Man tool will tell you whether a word is safe to steal.
Why did I get busted?
Because the word you stole used a letter the combination needed. The heat meter warns you as the vault gets dangerous; a Blueprint shows exactly which tiles are off-limits. One free Rewind a day undoes the steal that busted you.
Does my progress sync between devices?
Sign in with your email (Settings → Account) and your streaks, jobs, tools, wallet and purchases follow you to any device. It's a one-tap link — no password.
Can I play with friends?
Three ways: start a Heist Club with a six-letter code, send a challenge link so they play your exact vault, or pass the vault — you steal some words and they have to escape.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs on your phone from the web. Add it to your home screen for the full-screen app experience — see Get the game.
How do refunds work?
If something you bought didn't deliver, email us within 14 days and we'll fix it or refund it. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time from the billing portal.
Is the raccoon available for parties?
No. He's on a job.
